FLAPJACK Characters
 Flapjack
Flapjack is an excitable, adventure-loving boy who was raised by the talking whale Bubbie. Flapjack is raised as a quiet, down-to-earth child, and he continues to live this peaceful life until they rescue a pirate named Captain K'nuckles.
Flapjack is fascinated by the exciting stories he's told by Captain K'nuckles, and even though Bubbie does her best to warn Flapjack to be careful, Flapjack is determined to become a real adventurer.
 Captain K'nuckles
Captain K'nuckles is a washed-up, old sailor who claims to be the greatest pirate the world has ever known. He is always telling over-the-top tales of his adventures and getting Flapjack wrapped up in his high seas hijinks.
Captain K'nuckles seems determined to become the most famous and successful pirate in history, but in reality he's just a has-been.
 Bubbie
Bubbie is the talking whale which Flapjack raised in. Bubbie is like an over protective mother to Flapjack. She prefers the safety of Stormalong to the dangers of the open seas, but Bubbie is always there for Flapjack, no matter what kind of trouble K'nuckles gets him into.
Bubbie is well-meaning, but very over protective. She does her best to keep Flapjack guarded and to keep him from becoming an adventurer. Even though she tries to keep him from getting into trouble, she's always there for Flapjack when Captain K'nuckles gets him into trouble.
 Peppermint Larry
Peppermint Larry, owner of the Candy Barrel, is a candy seller who sells candy to Flapjack and Captain K'nuckles. He is the only person who can satisfy our heroes' candy cravings. When Flapjack and his friends don't have money for candy, Larry feeds them unreliable clues to Candied Island. Peppermint Larry has a candy wife made out of candy in The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack.
Peppermint Larry also gives them occasional vague hints about the location of the Candied Island, which Captain K'nuckles and Flapjack desperately wish to find.
 Dock Hag
She is the miserly old hag who runs the dock of Stormalong Harbor.
The Dock Hag has an almost mystical flair for issuing tickets, and her favorite ticket is for leaving whales in the water unattended.
 Eight-Armed Willy
The most dangerous creature on the high seas, Eight-Armed Willy is a bone crushing sea monster with an appetite for whales, adventurers and especially candy.
Eight-Armed Willy is Flapjack and his friends' main rival for Candied Island.
